This full-day workshop led by Blacksmiths Rob Scully and Wayne Schmidt encourages you to stoke your creative fires and test your hand at artisanal blacksmithing.

Enjoy demonstrations of drawing, upsetting, squaring, rounding, riveting and barley twisting techniques, and craft a bespoke item to take home.

Bookings are essential, workshop cost includes tuition, materials, morning tea and lunch. Places are limited, be quick to book!

What you need to know

  • Participants must be 16 years and over.
  • There are no prerequisites to attend.
  • Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Participants must declare any condition or injury that may impact their ability to successfully complete the workshop.
  • Bring bottled water and ensure you wear long sleeves, long pants and closed in shoes.
