Sir Topham Hatt returns and is joined by charming duo Rusty & Dusty for special performances, singing and delightful meet-and-greet sessions. Be mesmerised by a spectacular bubble performer, unleash your creativity with exciting craft activities, and engage in a treasure trove of bubble-filled fun!

Annual Pass Holders
Queensland Museum Rail Workshops Annual Pass holders receive free entry to Day Out With Thomas, no bookings required. Please note: Day Out with Thomas is not included in Queensland Museum Spark Lab memberships.
Weather
Please note, the operation of the Land Train and other outdoor activities is weather-dependent and may be closed at the museum's discretion.
In the event of rain, Queensland Museum Rail Workshops features expansive covered areas that ensure Day Out With Thomas will continue with plenty of fun activities.
Arrive Early for Full Enjoyment
To make the most of your experience at Day Out With Thomas: The Bubble Tour, we encourage visitors to arrive by 12pm to enjoy all the magic and adventure. A schedule of performances will help you plan your visit.
Join us for a Sensory Friendly Day Out With Thomas on Wednesday 15 January, 2025! This event is designed to support visitors and families requiring a calming environment and lower sound levels. Featuring timed entry tickets to manage audience numbers for a more peaceful experience with fewer visitors.
The Relaxing Room and a Quiet Space are also available daily.

OSHC, Vacation care, and Childcare Groups Bookings:
Bookings are essential for all OSHC, Vacation Care and Childcare group visits.
We recommend you book as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred visit date and time.
A discounted ticket price of $15 per student is available for the following self-led group bookings:
To be eligible for the Group Booking Discount:
There must be 10+ children included in the booking aged between 3 – 15 years.
Adult supervisors must attend and are admitted free at a ratio of 1 to 5 children.
Additional adults to this ratio pay $19 per person.
Coach and bus parking is available on-site.
