Behind the scenes there’s even more to be explored… As part of our 25th birthday celebrations, Queensland Museum Tropics, Townsville will be running a series of intimate and exclusive tours of different collections and research areas.
Each Collections Uncovered tour will involve our collections and research team leading visitors for a sneak peek behind the scenes to uncover a different specialty of the Queensland Museum Tropics collection. Tours will last approximately 1 hour including question time.
NOTE: Please note that safety regulations require visitors to wear closed-in footwear, and unfortunately, wheelchair access is not available. There will be short periods of walking and longer periods of standing throughout the tour. Prams are not permitted and all participants must be 12 years or older. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Please note that bags will also need to be checked at Museum Reception prior to your tour.
