Visit as a group

A trip to Queensland Museum Tropics is an exciting experience of discovery for all ages! Queensland Museum Tropics welcomes group visits. Bookings are required for any group of 10 or more visiting the museum.

Museum facilities include:

• Bus drop off zone
• Wheelchair accessible
• Guided museum tours
• For an additional cost, the museum can also arrange light refreshments at The Galley Cafe.

Adult groups

Special admission rates apply for pre-booked groups into touring exhibitions of 10 or more people. 

The museum can arrange an invoice for your visit. You can also make one group payment upon entry on the day of your visit using cash or card.

Children's groups

Children's groups, such as kindergartens and outside school hours and vacation care groups, have the opportunity to visit and participate in a wide range of activities during the school holidays. View our What's on calendar for the upcoming school holiday program.

A general visit to the museum is free although bookings are essential.

Special admission rates apply for local outside school hours and vacation care pre-booked groups of 10 or more children when visiting exhibitions. Bookings are essential for all visits.

Adult supervisors are admitted free at a ratio of 1:5.
