Peter Volk
Peter Volk is Assistant Collection Manager Social History, Cultures & Histories Program.
Throughout his career he has worked in, on, or with machinery restoration, mineralogy, archaeology, palaeontology, petrology, history and anthropology in various capacities, mostly as a collection manager.
He has also spent a good deal of time in support of small and regional museums, helping with issues of collection management and collection databases. After more than 40 years in the business, he has seen it all and written a registration number on most of it.
