Tripedalia binata, cubozoan, range, jellyfish, carybdeid, morphology
The occurrence of Tripedalia binata, a small species of carybdeid jellyfish previously known in Australia only from specimens collected in the Northern Territory, is recorded from three new locations in North Queensland. Photographic documentation of the morphology of T. binata is also presented herein.
