Become nature-wise these school holidays! Join Programming Coordinator Adrian Fitzpatrick for a fun and educational introduction to nature journaling workshop.

  • No previous experience required.

Whether you're a young art lover, a budding nature journaler, or simply curious about the world around you, this workshop has something for everyone. Recommended for ages 10 to adult.

More information for parents

  • Parents or carers of children under 12 must remain at the museum during the workshop, either in the workshop area, café, or nearby exhibits.
  • Parents with an interest in nature journaling can purchase a ticket to join the workshop and create alongside their child.

About the presenter

Adrian Fitzpatrick is an accidental nature journaler, discovering the practice when he was teaching art journaling for wellbeing to adults. Adrian enjoys spending time in nature, believing in the power of the natural world to positively enhance our physical and emotional health. He enjoys using nature journaling to help him interact with and enjoy the natural world.
With a Bachelor of Teaching and a Graduate Diploma in Children’s Art, Adrian has worked as a classroom teacher, School Principal and art tutor.
