In this design challenge, students are tasked with designing and building a stomp rocket that can travel to a chosen planet. Students follow the design-thinking framework to investigate relevant aspects of the design challenge. Based on your school’s STEM agenda, the Stomp Rocket Design Challenge can be incorporated into a lesson or two, or modified to become a cross-disciplinary project-based unit.
