All Bottled Up: Object Analysis
This activity is designed to explore and build on students’ prior knowledge of materials. In this activity, students observe and compare a glass/ceramic bottle and a plastic bottle. They identify the features of the bottles and explore the advantages and disadvantages of the materials used to make the bottles to identify why plastics have become such an integral part of human society.
